Jamal Hammadi is a pioneering hair ambassador. In his youth, he gained invaluable experience through test shoots and assembling image based work, slowly establishing his reputation in the fashion world. Working with well respected hair guru Odiele Gilbert has been a particular highlight for him and he credits his time spent with her as one of his most valuable professional experiences. His work has featured in fashion editorials, graced haute couture runway shows and dazzled the paparazzi on the red carpet where high profile celebrities frequently showcased his work. His clientele includes a host of A-listers such as Heather Graham, Linda Evangelista, Eva Mendes, Drew Barrymore, Sharon Stone, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Maya Rudoph. Evangelista is one of his most dedicated clients; so much so she flew him over to London to style her hair for a Vogue cover shoot. Their initial introduction was made by Louis Licari, a world renowned colourist with whom Jamal still works closely. To add to those already impressive credentials, Chanel, Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano have all called upon his expertise to complement their collections. His own line, Hamadi Beauty, embodies his organic and environmental beliefs. His products are luxurious, 100% organic and combine essential oils and plant extracts.
